How to convert offline nbme scores?

someone in the forum told me, if you will score 75% & above in offline form... you are doing good. but correlation to 3 digit score can only be known if you will take it as online.

hi! i took nbme. and one of my low score is on general principles of health and disease. i am quite confused what subject will i read for this one. tnx. hope somebody can enlighten me on this one.

help reg. extension of eligibility period

yes, if you will take it on aug, you will have to pay for new application because you can only extend it up to july 31. hope this helped...

you can subscribe 1 month uworld but my advised at least 2 mos of uworld...

first aid step 2 CK

does anyone knows where to find errata for first aid step 2 CK? i am quite disturbed with the errors that I am seeing in this book. can somebody tell me how/where to find the errata? tnx

tnx for the reply schifus. yes kaplan notes is enough I guess but I havent read it yet... that's why im doing first aid... kaplan notes is too long esp for a short preparation.

hi humandelavari! I've read that you did advise to read u world and nothing else. in my case i havent read kaplan notes, is it ok to do uworld only? tnx. though im reading first aid for step 2.

block means 1 whole set of questions which is in uworld is 44 items. as i can see, you should be reading like 2 blocks a day, meaning 48 questions, to finish uworld on your desired date and you can actually go back to the incorrect questions. hope this help. edited by tutubi on 8/17/2010

simple question

oh... 88 is not too much. i've read in this forum, others are doing 3 sets... meaning 132 questions. but of course no rush... if you think you are better with your current # of questions, that would be fine. just a suggestion though...

first aid, crush step 2, usmle step 2 secrets?

im done with reading first aid for step 2 ck, i could say, i dont like it that much as much as the step 1. can somebody help me if I will buy a new book, which is better? crush or secrets? or is first aid suffice for my review book. tnx

Just borderline prepared and exam in 4 days

if you can extend your exam, pls do so. I did kaplan Qbank and my score is 70%+, my uworld is 59% (just finished it today). my exam would be on nov 12 then. Based on your message, you yourself believe that you are not yet ready to take the exam. So better not take it.
