Uworld + NCLEX = Success

Hey there! I took the NCLEX this week, and UWorld is what helped me to be successful! As many people find, after taking the NCLEX, I felt like I bombed it (that's a normal feeling, apparently!).

Here's the study plan I used:
-I studied consistently everyday up to my NCLEX date (1 month).
-I worked through the UWorld QBank questions and read the rationales, made flashcards for any drugs, and used the notebook feature to review rationales to later.
-I watched videos for topics I needed the most refreshing on (maternal health/peds)
-I spent about 3-4 hours everyday and focued on a different topic everyday
-I averaged 60-70 questions per day
-I took a self assessment at the beginning of each week (3 total)
-I took a CAT exam at the end of each week (4 total)

Reasons why Uworld works:
1. It gets you used to the feel of NCLEX (the format is almost exactly the same)
2. It helps you to understand how to answer questions (sometimes it's not about the content, but more about what is the most safe)
3. It breaks the content down into pieces that are easy to understand and recall when you are taking the actual NCLEX

My suggestion is to trust the Uworld process! I didn't think that I was doing well on the practice exams and was hung up on my scores and percentile. Don't worry about that! Work through the questions and take your time! What I ended up realizing is that there was NO way that I was going to know ALL of the information. I think it's important to remember that if you know enough and have a good understanding of the Uworld content, you'll do GREAT! YOU ALL GOT THIS! ☺️
