everyone discusses nbme scores here...i still do not know how to apply to take an nbme test...some1 plzz help...is it only for us residents or for img's as well

follow the next steps:

1. go to www.nbme.org
2. on the left upper part choose 'students&residents'
3. after you click that, it will appear underneath a white square where you will choose 'self-assessements'
4. after clicking that, underneath will appear another white square where you will choose 'login to self assessement services'
5. next step is to register: on the left hand side will appear many options like home, login, new account, sample assessement, terms&conditions, etc; click on 'new account' and give all the informations they need from you(most important you will need a valid email adress....rest of the things can be real or not-i mean adress, real name, age, etc)
6. on your email adress they will sent you a message when your account will have to be activated(as long as i remember, the only thing which has to be done is to click on a link in that email confirmation)
7. after you confirm&activate your account, repeat step 1 to step 5 but on step 5 you will choose 'login' instead of 'new account'.....it will appear a new window where they ask for your account id(which is your email adress) and the password...after login in, choose whatever form you wanna take....
