I just took my neclex

8/4/2016 7:17:35 PM
I'm scare😩 It took my 4 hours to do 151 questions on my neclex. I was so upset my machine didn't cut off at 75 question. I did all my uworld question and went over most of the question I got wrong. I'm trying to stay focus but it's hard because I won't know it I pass until Monday. I'm trying to stay positive but my nerves is bad. Is there anyway I could found out if I pass or fail before Monday.

If you got LOT of SATA...you're on safer bet.
It usually means you're on higher level questions....or statistically wise...
You will pass...i have a feeling.

From my understanding about people getting SATA questions is that just because you may not pass all those questions...it wouldn't discount you from passing...
At least..that's the research that i'm finding?

i took mine 2 months ago and i keep tracking how many SATA i had because that's what people said SATA SATA and SATA. But in my experienced i had lots of sata also in the last 3number are all SATA before the computer shut off. That time i was 101% expect that i pass but i got failed result. what a waste of effort but its okay i will retake it again next week and Im ready. God will save us all for this struggled.

Sata is higher level questions. How many questions did you do? You did easy questions did you?

Select all questions don't always mean higher level. I just passed NCLEX 2 days ago and I mostly got priority. only a couple of SATA. Alot of EKG's. this was my second time taking this exam. the first time I got alot of SATA and failed.

I don't know. My classmates passed with 75 questions had lot of sata with priority...but passed.

I said that just because you get SATA, it does not mean they are higher level. There are SATA that are below level

I'm aware of what you said. To each it's own. That's why i ask the other person if it was easy questions. I said..usually to the op.

Computer shut at 75 Q. and i had 35 SATA in that 75 and my last 3numbers are sata that was freakin hard my Friend. so it is what it is i embraced the failed result and move on. Maybe sata is not always a higher level Q.
Good Luck to all of us here and Congratulation's.

You got this, buddy. Was the questions harder or easier than uworld? were the subjects almost similar?

8/6/2016 8:00:43 PM
In my opinion the questions were about the same in regards to difficulty. My overall average finishing uworld was 57%. However, I walked out of the NCLEX feeling defeated because I felt like I got a lot of the questions wrong. Overall, I had maybe 5 questions similar to uworld but not exactly (similar as in: in ____ disease you would expect ____ OR put the following nursing skill in order from first to last). I only had about 15-20 SATA, 6 EKGs, 1 drag and drop, TONS of very specific pharmacology, and majority was "who would you see first" questions. Not a lot of pediatrics or maternity (I was shocked). I finished in 75 questions and found out I passed. Good luck!

Thanks for insight. HOLY MOLY with meds....lol. That "who would you see first" is actually hard. LOL. Unless you recognize someone with abdominal pain or something. LOL.

Same here. Took the exam on the 8/8/16 and had lots of sata questions no joke the first 24 questions were sata, had a few priority, one maternity , two paeds and one ekg. Then it was back to sata question till the 75th question and computer stopped. I thought I had failed but just checked and I passed. So I do agree most sata questions are high level .

You should have just done the Pearson Vue trick. It worked for me. Also check the state board of nursing; within 24 hours of passing it is there.
