self assessment can it be suspended in between

hi guys can the self assessment exam be suspended and continued later and what happens to the test status in case internet gets disconnected.plz someone reply soon..its kinda urgent..thanks in advance!

yes, it can be suspended once you finished a block (there's 4 blocks) or in the middle of a block you can paused it, just like u do with uworld, and continue later

Took UW simulation exam #1 last weekend. At the end of all 4 blocks it gives u 2 scores, both 3 digits: the "approximate 3 digit score" (which is the estimated score of what u'll get in the actual USMLE)and another score called "assessment score" (that I guess is equivalent to the scale in NBME forms, which are 800 scale). For this check nbme self assessment page, if u want. There's a table that traslates the 800 scale number into actual step 1 score.

On what's a good score?, it depends on your goals for the test: just to pass, get the mean score or ace it. U want to go above 188 for sure, over 200 better, to avoid being borderline, bc remember, there's standard deviation which can through off your score +/- 10 pts of your estimated score. The score estimation should be close but it's not 100% accurate of your actual step 1 performance.
