Step Scores

Hi Everybody!

I just want to encourage all of you and tell you from my experiance that scores are not as important as most people claim. I've failed Step 1, passed on the 2nd attempt, got a low score.

I took Step 2, improved by 20 points, got high 80's.
It doesn't matter if you've failed, as long as you continue to try and improve. Programs like to see your improvement and perseverance and positive attitude.

I've managed to do rotations in one of the best hospitals in the US even with the poor scores and got amazing LOR's.

So far I've got a couple of interview's for surgey.

So my advice is this: Do not give up, don't let the poor scores get in the way of your dreams. Don't listen to people that are negative. Don't forget who you are and where are you going. Failure if often a better teacher than success if you're willing to learn from it.

Good luck! You too can do it!
