Comprehensive plan. Low QBank scores. Deviate?
Doing the comprehensive plan, the study schedule interweaves CR with QBank. I'm consistently getting < 50% on these QBank tests. Is it better to deviate from their study schedule to commit to a more dedicated CR so I'm not "wasting" questions?
I might be a little late. I also use the study plan, but I recommend focusing on content review first. I am mainly focusing on CR right now and flashcards ( 4 hours CR, 2 hours flashcards ( easily 200 cards a day). I tried to answer questions here and there to check my knowledge, but I realized that after learning about the content, I easily score above 80, as I have a solid understanding of the questions. Also, do the examples in the book they are really helpful.
Also, I recommend doing 3 Carss daily, if you can. I saw progress in my Carss doing that. For anyone reading this, cover your bases first before doing the questions; you'll have a much easier time!

People often misunderstand what UWorld is actually for. It’s best viewed as a content review and learning tool, not a score-comparison platform. How your percentage ranks against other users is irrelevant and honestly does not matter at all. The real value of UWorld is learning to think through challenging questions and getting accustomed to a Qbank that is harder than the exam itself. Use UWorld to study the explanations, strengthen weak areas, and build confidence with difficult passages while recognizing basic science patterns and a deep understanding. Where you should truly time yourself and monitor performance is with AAMC material the QPacks, Section Banks, and AAMC full-length exams. That content reflects the authentic style of the MCAT and provides the only meaningful outlook on whether you’re ready.
Trust me, I’ve taken the MCAT. UWorld scores don’t predict success AAMC performance does.
I wish you the best of luck!
