Has anyone found a beneficial use of flashcards for SAT/DSAT prep?

I know flashcards are mostly marketed towards med students, but I wanted to use them for the SAT.

Flash cards are a great medium for learning rules and definitions. I recommend building decks for grammar rules, mathematical formulas, or worked examples as you encounter them in explanations. Then, on the days you plan to study one subject or the other, run through a deck before building a test on related questions so that you have the chance to study and apply the rules in quick succession.
