Hi Elina,
Congratulations on all your achievements. I graduated from medical school in India before 12 years and have been going back n forth with taking the MLE steps. I got my MPH and am currently getting my PhD in Epidemiology. I do miss clinics and also find not having an MD to be a rate limiting step, particularly in clinical research work. I have never taken the steps before and was told that hospitals prefer fresh graduates compared to an "older" graduate such as me. In your experience is this true? I just want to be sure that all my efforts and money are worth only if I am eligible to be considered for residency positions.

Waiting to hear back from you! Thanks very much in advance.
