Questions About Bulk Purchase?

  • Do we qualify for a bulk pricing discount?

We offer bulk pricing/discount for purchases made directly by a school/program or an institution, typically for the entire class.  To qualify for bulk pricing, the order must meet the below minimum quantity requirements.

    • STEP1, STEP2:  50 subscriptions
    • STEP3ABIM, ABFM:  20 subscriptions
    • NCLEX-RN/PN:  25 subscriptions
    • MCAT, SAT, ACT, Clinical Med Math:  Please contact us
  • What type of discount is offered?

Exact discount amounts will vary based on several factors, including the quantity of the purchase, the product ordered, and any additional requirements such as score reporting.  To receive an official quote, please provide the estimated number of desired subscriptions and the desired subscription duration.

  • What products are eligible for bulk pricing discount?

Bulk pricing is offered for NEW subscription purchases with minimum quantity per package.  The minimum quantities are:

    • STEP1STEP2:  50 subscriptions
    • STEP3ABIM, ABFM:  20 subscriptions
    • NCLEX-RN/PN:  25 subscriptions
    • MCATSATACT, Clinical Med Math:  Please contact us
  • Can we select multiple products based on student preference?

You may purchase as many different packages as you like within one order, however the minimum requirement must be met per package in order to qualify for the bulk purchase discount prices (i.e. if you purchase 50 subscriptions of the Step1 360 Qbank and 1 subscription of the Step1 730-day Qbank, only the 180-day subscriptions are eligible for the discount.  The 730-day subscription will be billed at full price). However, students are provided the option to upgrade to a longer duration package at the time they redeem their discount code.  They will simply need to pay the difference in value between the two packages.  Therefore, typically one single baseline product is selected for the purchase.

  • When does the subscription start? Can we choose a preferred start date?

All recipients of a discount code from a bulk purchase must redeem their discount code within the stated deadline (30 days from code issuance).  However, the subscription will not automatically activate once it is redeemed.  The subscription can be activated at any time following redemption, with no deadline for activation.

  • How does the bulk purchase process work (eg, process, logistics)?

A brief overview of the process is as follows:

    • We provide an official quote for the quantity and duration that is requested.
    • The purchaser provides an official Purchase Order and a list of participating individuals.
    • We process the order and participating individuals will receive their own unique discount code via email.
    • We will provide a final invoice once the order has been processed.
    • Purchaser will then remit payment per the invoice terms.

Individuals need to redeem their discount code under their own UWorld account within the stated deadline.

Looking to master
the SAT® or ACT®?

Why have more than a million students worldwide
trusted their high-stakes exam prep to us?

Don't take our word for it.

UWorld is designed to overprepare you for the exam and build your skills through harder problems. By practicing with difficult material, you get a better grasp of the concepts. Then, when you take the real SAT, it's easier to apply those concepts to questions that seem easier than what you've practiced.

I swear, I did no other preparation than completing UWorld and moved from a 1390 to a 1510 on the SAT. So, to all those prepping, I PROMISE you that, UWORLD IS THE REAL DEAL. Just finish all the questions and learn from your mistakes. IT'S FREAKING AMAZING!

I got a perfect score...I knew I did really well but I never thought it would actually happen. Special shout out to UWorld—their hard questions got me ready for that test. My hands are literally shaking as I type this out. My adrenaline is pumping like I just jumped out of a plane without a parachute!

UWorld is a goldmine for practice problems. I found the problems slightly harder, and it helped me tremendously. UWorld kind of reminds me of those donut things that baseball players put on their bats to make them more difficult to swing, so that when they are actually at the plate swinging, it feels like a breeze.

UWorld helped me so much with every section of the exam. The explanations and challenging questions over-prepared me for the test, and it got me where I wanted to be.

Going from any other resource's explanations to UWorld is like going from the minor leagues to the majors. Just do all of the questions and you'll be set. So far, I have increased my score from 1310 to 1500+ on practice tests.

  • SAT or ACT - which one is right for me?
Both exams are used for college admission screening and awarding merit-based scholarships. Neither exam is preferred over the other, so students have increasingly been encouraged to take both. Both exams test the same general topics, but only the ACT has a science section. Additionally, the SAT has two sections of math—one with a calculator and one without. A calculator is allowed for all ACT math questions. You can gauge which exam suits you better by taking a practice exam.
  • How long is each test?
Each exam takes approximately three hours—with a total of 154 questions on the SAT and 215 questions on the ACT. There is an optional essay section on both exams that adds 45–50 minutes, so it takes about four hours to complete all sections of either exam.
  • How many times can I take each test?
You can take the ACT up to 12 times. You can take the SAT as many times as you like. Both tests "superscore," so colleges will see your best score in each section. Most students take each test 2–3 times, preparing and taking practice tests as 10th graders and taking the actual exam as 11th graders.
  • What score do I need to get into my dream school?
It depends on the school, and acceptance is based on a combination of GPA and other factors. The ACT is scored on a scale of 1–36, with an average score of 21. The SAT is scored on a scale of 400–1600, with an average score of 1060. To be considered for entrance and scholarship at most universities, you should have a competitive GPA of at least 3.0 and score at least 27 on the ACT or 1200 on the SAT.
  • What is the most effective way to prep for the exam?
Active learning—practicing in conditions that replicate the actual exam—is the most effective way to prepare. You can listen to lectures or read all you want, but the most meaningful improvements are made when you practice with questions under real-world conditions.
  • Does my superscore matter?
Both exams superscore, which means that college admissions and scholarships take into account your best SAT or ACT score from each section, even if they occurred on different administrations of the exam.
  • Should I take the essay portion of the exam?
Colleges are increasingly prioritizing their own essays over the SAT and ACT essays, and many do not require this portion of the exams at all. However, because a test essay will give you another opportunity to showcase your college readiness, a good score can help your application.
  • Should I take an SAT subject test?
As with the essay portion of the exam, the number of admission departments that require you to take a subject test is declining. Nevertheless, performing well on a subject test can increase your chances of getting into your dream school or into a particular department there.
