Prep time ... Part time 2 months... Full-time 3 weeks.....
MTB step 3
Uworld Qbank once with revision of wrong answers (first time %age 62)
CCS uworld cases once
CCS simulator once
UWSA 227
NBME 470
REAL SCORE 220
Appeared in September, first day FIP was real challenge, long questions and topics not covered by MTB and UW, very few questions on GYNAE-OBS, surgery, pediatrics. Mostly medicine.... (Being in a surgical branch it's very important to learn as much medicine as you can).... ACM and CCS were standard.... Had a gap of 1 day between two , however it's enough , i thought second day would be longer and tougher , however it was smooth going as 45 minutes blocks of 30 questions are less tiring with shorter question length, and CCS was fine with all standard cases and few general ones.... finished almost 90 minutes before the total time .....
Any queries are welcome.....

Hi! Thanks for sharing experience/performance
Did you see a lot of basic science type of questions? I mean "step 1-like-questions" asking mechanism in pharmacology or microbiology... If so, can you give an example?
Were the questions on the real test closer to NMBE or UWSA?
Thanks a lot!

UW unused, timed, average 70%
UWSA form2 217
UWSA form1 220

REAL DEAL 213
I scored average on almost all topics and CCS score was high top right.
First day is full of wtf questions, random topics, tons of step1, about 20% stats.
Second day is somehow more manageable questions wise but still very difficult questions, requiring lots of thinking and very little time.
My advice, practice CCS all you can with all the resources available. This is the key to pass the exam.
Good Luck y'all.

Thank you
This helps a great deal

What do you suggest we look at for the missing items not covered in MB and UW q’s?
I’m pretty certain as well, that our main score is heavy weighted on the CCS because our test is not about what we know in our heads but can we put it to use at the drop of a dime hence the short time long scenarios.

You have really cleared this up for me and have been tackling this exam wrong.

God bless my friend.
