hi, i would like to ask what would be the best reviewer for step 2ck? is first aid good enough to cover all grounds in IM, pedia, surgery, obgyne, psych, etc?

FA is definitely not enough--i relied on it failed once.
this new book is a better replacement of those, along with MTB and UW:

Hey there for IM, peds, obgyn, surgery, and ethics/biostat Kaplan is great. For psychiatry First Aid is the best choice. Thse books with UWorld should get you a good mark, its what I myself and many of my friends have used and they have netted us great results all at 250+

Here's a post I wrote, I explained in it a bit more details about book selection and my personal thoughts and experience with the few different books out there:

https://www.uworld.com/Forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=8481

Ofcourse at the end its each persons personal opinion, but this is how I feel about Kaplan etc

Which MTB to use???

MTB for step 3 or Step 2cK

Before there was only one MTB now there are 2 and I have heard mixed reviews.

Thanks

MOST DEFINITELY, KAPLAN REVIEW, BOOKS, NO DOUBT WITH mtb, AND DO KAPLAN BOOKS ALONG WITH FIRST AID AT SAME TIME, DONT FINISH KAPLAN AND THEN START OFF FIRST AID , RATHER USE BOTH HAND IN HAND, TO STRENGTHEN THE HIGH YIELD AREAS, THEN WHEN U DONE WITH THOSE THEN READ mtb for recap, Dr conrad fisher is a kaplan faculty , so u will see the recaps as soon as u review his MTB,for step 2CK

Very efficient combo review:
MTB2 has excellent applications and the Yale-G's has excellent summary, of the key clinical knowledge with HYQs...

after my high score pass, i think MTB and FA etc are only limited pickup of some high-yield topics--not enough for the test, but Yale-G's (usmle-yaleg.com) is a lot more complete collection of most subjects tested in the step 2-3. copied amazon FB for your ref:

.......

Obviously all the reviews are bogus, plus you're post is a a mere plug for the product. User beware.

Hey there, I started preparations for step2 CK recently but a bit at a loss as regards how useful my choice of review materials are relative to high yoeld stuffs. They are FA & Boards and wards for USMLE step 2 and 3. Anyone with useful information please?

You should try Memorang since they have 7500 flashcards for MTB, FA, etc!
