Should I quit?? :(
Hello, I got 195 on step 1 with 2nd attempt. Recently gave USMLE Step 2 with what I thought was a thorough preparation, but FAILED! My YOG is 2009. I will need visa sponsoring.
I am strongly determined to practice medicine in future in US. I am ready to do anything to reach that goal.
Please help me find my way to reach my goal.
DONT GIVE UP. peope have found alternate ways to get into residency in the past. And so can you. Take step 2 again but this time take a course, find a motivated study partner,...and dont retake it unless u r score above 230 on your practice tests. Do research, externships, impress and make contacts.
Numbers are only part of the game. Keep strong and dont let this beat you.
