I will graduate in a month and have a year of internship remaining. I had previously thought of doing Step 1 first and improve my basic science but recently I have been in a dilemma. I have been doing my research and learned that preparing for step 2 during my training would be more helpful to me because then I would be dealing with the clinical subjects and clinical skills. At the same time, I could prepare pathology and pharmacology too which will surely be needed aplenty in Step 2. Then, I could go for step 1 seriously after giving step 2 after my internship. Maybe devote a good 5-6 months for it. Is that good thinking?
