Im taking my exam soon, and wanted advice on interaction with female patients.
Im a male, and when we approach female patients I know were not allowed to auscultate through gown. When we auscultate the hear valves, do we just stop at aortic and pulmonic...or do we pull down the gown to their stomach and expose their bra to listen to the tricuspid and mitral sounds?
