query reg credit card fraud
Hi Everyone,
Quick question: Has anyone been a victim of credit card fraud after using it on this website? When I tried to use my credit card it Uworld told me I was logging in from an unsecure location. I had to fax them my credit card information. This happened one year ago, I am concerned now because I have recently seen multiple unauthorised transactions on my credit card statements. Did this happen to anyone else??
I have used uw for step 1,2 and now using it for 3.

when u use online payment make sure u use ur own internet and your own computer...dont use any public or hotel or friends internet especially when u pay..

Like I said my computer wouldnt let me use my card to pay for uworld, I had to fax them my card information. I am wondering if some one at UW is responsible for me losing >75,000 INR.
I think you should call you credit card company to cancel it and get a new card reissued. I have never had fraud experience with you world. But these problems happen on unsecured networks. I wish you the best of luck.
I bought a 699€ subscription and money just "disappeared"
Initially I thought that I just should wait a little, but after some days of waiting I wrote to support and had a response "we can't assist with any purchases made through the app". Money was withdrawn from my bank account two weeks ago and all these days I was trying to discuss the situation with support with no success.
