Hello . Guys i had exam date on oct 29th 2013 which i cancelled for family emergency i cant make it . My eligibility period till oct 31st 2013. My school gave me time till december 2013 , i have to be done with step1 before december 30th. I wanted to apply again for step1 exam but i couldnt do it. I called ecfmg they said i have to wait till november 15th order to apply again. The eligibility period that i want to take the exam is already begins. if any one have any idea if i apply on nov 15th 2013 am i still able to get this eligibility period and take my test on december. Please some one help me . I Don't know what to do . I am so worried. Please help.

Yes you can in DEC. ECFMG needs 2 weeks to 3 weeks for their Permit to be ready.
Im also trying to reapply. Cuz I cant take exam this Nov and Gotta postpone it to Jan. Same boat.

Thanks for reply. I am scare to death. but the eligibility period which is oct 1st to dec 30th is already begins . Do you think I will be able get this period? because i have to take the step by december 15th 2013. Thanks

sorry I am not sure about that though. you have to ask ECFMG about that to be sure. sorry about that.
