Thank you Ghauri. As u r preparing, u need to keep highlighting/make notes of the important/difficult to remember points. You can compact all those points in the First Aid. Reviewing that material is very important & will suffice for the last week. Do not solve any new questions/explore new books in the last week. But make sure you have finished NBME forms 7,11,12,13 by then. Also see the diagrams/specimens presented in other NBME forms. Many of these flash in the main exam. Do not read for more than 3 hours on the day before exam - only flash through the high yield facts u r already familiar with. Relax & keep ur mind fresh. A good sleep the night before exam is essential. Proper time management during the main exam is important. The main exam is similar in standard to the NBME. Best of luck!

materials - kaplan's lecture notes, u-world, golijan, first aid & nbme 7,11,12,13.

Im sorry. I don't have an exact idea of 'safe' scores. I have not even completed an elective yet. People who got into residency programs recently will be able to best answer your question. Good luck.
